Hey Midcurrent,

I wanted to take a moment to send a special invitation for you to join us this Sunday at Midcurrent.

For starters, we’re wrapping up our series all about AI and the Church. The goal has been to start some bit of a conversation about how we follow Jesus in the age of instant everything!  I’m going to close out the series by talking about what it is that determines the strength, quality and longevity of the real human relationships we form with one another.

We’re also celebrating Child Dedications. Over the course of our three services, we’ll be dedicating 10 kids to the Lord. If you call Midcurrent home, I’d be especially glad for you to be a part of the celebration. I’m not asking because I want to make sure attendance is high on a special Sunday. I’m asking because Child Dedication is significant. In many ways, it’s parents who are dedicating themselves to do everything they can do to help their kids to know and follow Jesus. And we, as a church, have the opportunity to let those moms and dads know that we are right there with them. It’s our chance to let these families know that we are in their corner, we’re cheering for them, and that our church family is also committed, as often as we have the chance, to help point these kids to Jesus.

It will be a great morning no matter what. It will be better if you’re there too! We’ll save you a seat!
