Hey Midcurrent,
After a week of vacation with my family, I was back in church this past Sunday, and it was really good to be together again.
My family loves this vacation that we take every July. But we also kind of dread it too, because as soon as we get home, we all feel like summer is about to end! You too may feel like summer is flying by. But we still have some time to enjoy, and we have some great opportunities together as a church.
Ladies, there’s an IF:Table on August 9. This is a simple and effective way get to know other women by gathering together for a meal and some guided conversation. More information and registration can be found on the Church Center App or by clicking HERE.
We’re also throwing an End of the Summer Party on August 29. This is a chance for the whole church to come together to hang out with old friends and make new friends too. There’s a pool, volleyball courts, food, and live music. More information and registration can also be found on the Church Center app or by clicking HERE.
This Sunday, I’ll be wrapping up our series, Red Letters, by looking at one of the most obvious questions Jesus ever asked. It’s so obvious that it demands we take a closer look to see what it is that Jesus might really be getting at. Would love to see you there!
