I’m happy to share only good news with you today! All carpet tiles throughout the building will be replaced on Thursday. And we have located the issue in the old sewer main! There is some kind of obstruction in the old pipes (not in our plumbing or anything associated with the work done during our build out) that exists somewhere between Midcurrent and the lower level of Riverfront Athletic Club. The best news of all is that the repair work will not take place from within our space, meaning there is a high probably that we will not experience any more disruption to our ministry schedule.

This is such great news! It means we can get back to a singular focus of creating space where real people and a real God meet, and joining God at work in the hearts and lives of many who are being drawn to Him at Midcurrent.

This couldn’t come at a better time as we have just launched a new series called Inner Order Outer Peace designed to help us organize our lives around the things that matter most. MC Youth is experiencing some remarkable momentum right now. And, this Sunday night we are hosting our first ever NIGHT OF WORSHIP. There is a lot going on the world, there has been a lot going within the walls of Midcurrent lately, and there is likely a lot going on in your own life right now. This night of worship will be a chance to set it all aside and to devote one hour to intentional worship, prayer, and reflection. It’s at 7pm on November 2. Josh and his team have been hard at work to create a special evening for you, and we’d be glad to have you spend the evening with us.  There will be a movie night for kids PreK–5th grade as well as childcare in the nursery for any kids under 3 yrs old (use THIS LINK to register only kids that will require nursery aged childcare).

God is on the move at Midcurrent and we look forward, with great anticipation, to what He will do next!
