What a way to start!!

Hey Midcurrent!

I want to start by saying thanks to all of you who joined us for our Fall Kick Off! Our staff is still in awe of all the excitement and all of the people we had the opportunity to host on Sunday morning. What a fun, meaningful, and momentous way to kick off the fall at Midcurrent.

Whether you are brand new to MC, or you have been around from the beginning, I wanted to share some next steps that might be helpful for you as you kick off a new season in your own life.

  1. Digging Deeper. On Sunday, I began a brand new series on the book of Deuteronomy highlighting the importance of looking back in order to take new steps forward and in the direction of whatever God has in store for us next. Below are a handful of verses from the entire book of Deuteronomy, and the rest of the Bible, that add some extra insight into the significance of remembering God’s faithfulness.
    • Deuteronomy 4:9; Deuteronomy 5:15; Deuteronomy 8:1-2; Deuteronomy 8:18; Psalm 77:11-12; Psalm 143:5; Isaiah 46:9; Luke 22:19

Consider reading these verses this week and praying that God would                  reveal more and more of Himself and his faithfulness to you.

  1. Midcurrent Connections. This is a three-week, low risk–high reward environment that will help you get to know others at MC better. Starting next Thursday, September 25, we’ll meet three weeks in a row for simple conversation designed to lead you on a pathway toward faith-filled friendships. This is a highlight of the year for us, and often is for those who attend. Childcare is provided!
  2. Meeting Midcurrent. If you are new and wanting to learn a little bit more about who we are as a church, Meeting Midcurrent is specifically designed for you.  In 60 minutes or less, I’ll answer your questions about our mission, our vision, and everything that makes Midcurrent tick! And if you’re interested in Partnership at Midcurrent, Meeting Midcurrent is step #1 along that pathway! This October, there are two opportunities for you to consider–Sunday October 5 and Tuesday, October 28.
