Hey Midcurrent,
With a week of heat here in western Wisconsin, I think it’s safe to say that summer has arrived and, believe it or not, so has the 4th of July! If you are anything like my family, you’ve got plenty of plans lined up for the weekend. Consider this your invitation to make Midcurrent a part of them on Sunday, July 5th.
I happen to think that hanging out at Midcurrent is always the best way to spend a Sunday morning (I might be a little biased), but here are TWO reasons why this coming Sunday will be extra special.
- Sam Yang, our new associate youth pastor, is preaching in the second week of our series Red Letters! I know Sam has been working really hard on what will be his first sermon ever. I’m excited for you to get to know him and learn from him as well. And I’m super glad that we have the opportunity, at this time in the life of our church, to develop the next generation of leaders, pastors, and communicators of God’s Word.
- I have the privilege of leading worship. I started out in ministry as a worship leader. And while I don’t do it much anymore, it’s always a joy to dust off my guitar, sit in with the band, and lead you all in worship of our awesome God.
I should also remind you that, THIS SUNDAY, we are temporarily pivoting to TWO services for the rest of the summer. We’ll eventually resume our three-service schedule in September, but we’ll host two services at 9:00am and 10:30am from now until then.
You can also catch us online at YouTube.com/MidcurrentChurch .
See you soon!

P.S. If you have not yet registered your family for the MC KIDS Family Picnic on July 14, you can do so RIGHT HERE!
