Hey Midcurrent,
I have some exciting news to share with you. This week, we welcomed Sam Yang to the Midcurrent staff! Sam is our new associate youth pastor and will work alongside pastor Jonathan to continue making MC Youth the most irresistible place where students have a crazy amount of fun, are inspired to take life changing steps towards Jesus, and develop Jesus-like relationships with peers and caring adults.
MC Youth regularly host up 100 students every Wednesday night, and we have been praying for many months now that God would send someone to Midcurrent to help us invest into this next generation of Jesus followers in greater ways. Sam is an answer to that prayer. He has an incredible heart for Jesus and students and has valuable ministry experience that will make him a great fit at Midcurrent.
He’ll be at church this weekend, so this is your invitation to meet Sam in person on Sunday. I’d love for our whole church to give him a warm welcome to the MC family.
We’ll also be in the second week of our series, As It Is in Heaven. If you’ve ever wondered what the relationship is between those who are in heaven now and those of us who are still here on earth, then I hope you’ll join is as we take a look at what Scripture has to say about it all.
