MC Partnership

Hey Midcurrent,

These late winter months, leading into spring break here in the St. Croix Valley, are typically a little quieter in the life of our church. That’s why it has been both surprising and encouraging to see that these have been some of the fullest and most momentous weeks in the (almost) eights short years that Midcurrent has existed. God is really doing big things in our church and in the lives of individuals and families who walk through our doors week in and week out.

And there is no better time than right now to consider getting more involved in the work God is doing here. That’s why I want to take a moment to highlight our upcoming MC Partnership class. Partnership at Midcurrent is the equivalent to what some may refer to as church membership. It’s just that we don’t think membership paints the right kind of picture for our relationship with the local church. Membership in the world today is often about the benefits you receive as a member of an organization. But we don’t think that’s what membership in the local church was ever meant to be. It’s far more about how we can contribute, as partners, to the work God is doing in and through the local church.

If you’ve already attended Meeting Midcurrent and are interested in pursuing the path to Partnership, then let me invite you to attend an MC Partnership informational meeting on Sunday, March 30 directly following the 10:30 service.

Lunch and childcare will be provided. You can register HERE if you think this is your next step of faith at Midcurrent.

And no matter where you are this Sunday, we hope to see you in-person or online for Week 3 in our series Vital Signs.

9:00am and 10:30am // 200 First Street // YouTube.com/MidcurrentChurch.

Thanks,
Sten
