Last fall, we unveiled an exciting new partnership that we (along with two other Hudson churches) are starting with an organization called Together For Good. Together For Good creates pathways for the local church to come alongside vulnerable children and families in their greatest time of need. Together, we will we work to ensure that these families never walk through crisis alone.It has been a while now since you have heard any news about this new partnership, and you may have started to wonder, “What’s up with Together For Good?” So I wanted to provide an update today.

We are still excited about this partnership and are eager to begin walking alongside vulnerable families in our community. However, helping Together For Good launch a brand new ministry site in Wisconsin has had a slightly longer “on ramp” than we initially projected. The good news is that because of your overwhelming support and response, we are off to a really great start!

The greatest priority at the moment is working with Together For Good, along with Faith Community Church and Hill City Church, to ensure that funding is first secured to add a social worker to the team at Together For Good who would serve western Wisconsin specifically. This is ultimately the next domino that needs to fall. If you have an interest in contributing to that priority, you can reach out to me, and I can help you to direct your generosity toward that effort.

And as next steps present themselves for us as a church, we will be sure to keep you in the loop as we strive to love and serve our community in the name of Jesus!
