Gratitude

You may have heard us say a few times now that this has been one of the most momentous seasons in the life of our church. It’s true. And as I think about all that is unfolding, one thing comes to mind. Gratitude. I am grateful to God that He continues to meet people here at Midcurrent in real and powerful ways. And I am grateful for all of you.

You may have been around from the beginning, or you may have been around for only the last couple weeks or somewhere in between. Regardless, here’s what I know to be true. None of this would be possible without you. None of what we are experiencing at Midcurrent would be possible without each of you who has showed up, invited a friend, served on a team, given generously, prayed faithfully or taken some kind of risk to help contribute in some way to the work that God is doing here.

This place is making a difference, friends. And I know that I, for one, am so glad to be a part of a church that cares so deeply about doing anything and everything we can to ensure that Midcurrent is always a place where real people and a real God meet.

With that, I want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope that day is full of lots of food, friends, family, football…and hopefully a great deal of gratitude as well.

It’s a busy weekend I know, but don’t forget to come hang out with us on Sunday. Wouldn’t be the same without you.
