Hey Midcurrent!
Believe it or not, we are about one month away from Easter. This is one of a few times of the year when people’s spiritual curiosity, and even their openness to spiritual exploration, is on the rise.
I have often believed that this is the perfect time of the year for Jesus followers to share their faith with others or to at least be praying for opportunities to have spiritual conversations with people in their everyday sphere of influence. The fancy word for all of this is evangelism. And it’s not uncommon for people to be uncomfortable at the thought of it. All too often, people feel like they are unqualified to influence others in a spiritual context.
That’s why I am excited to start a new series this Sunday called Best Supporting Actor where we will learn about some of greatest influencers in the New Testament who you likely have not heard much about. Over the next four weeks, we’ll study a handful of relatively unknown characters in the Bible in order to discover how ordinary men and women helped to advance the gospel message of Jesus Christ in extraordinary ways.
If you have ever wanted to be used by God in big ways, but don’t quite know where to start, this will be the perfect series for you. I would love for you to be a part of it all!
