I want to say thanks to all of you who joined us this past Sunday as we celebrated EIGHT years of God’s faithfulness at Midcurrent and witnessed 21 people going public with their faith in Jesus. This second Sunday in October is easily one of my favorite Sundays every year!

But now we turn the page. And in week number one of year number nine, I have an exciting announcement to make. Drum roll please….

We have hired a new FULL TIME director of MC Kids. Her name is Pam Schott. Pam has been the kids ministry coordinator, for a ministry very similar to MC Kids, at a large church in Fargo, North Dakota for the last four years. Additonally, she has 20+ years of experience as a special education paraprofessional. And most of all, she has a contagious love for Jesus and an uncontainable passion for kids. She will be a major asset to our team and will help lead MC Kids into brand new territory. Pam’s first day on our team will be on Monday, November 3 and she will be excited to welcome you and your kids to MC Kids the following Sunday, November 9.

Please be praying for Pam and her transition over the next couple weeks, and be praying for the future of MC Kids and all of our continued efforts to make it the most fun, safe, and caring place for kids to learn about Jesus.
