Sten, his wife Erica, and his three kids Lucy, Olle, and Sigge moved to Hudson in 2017 with nothing more than a dream to create a different kind of church experience for people who had given up on church, never set foot in church, or who just hadn’t found a church that helped them to see Jesus more clearly or follow him more closely. Seeing the doors of Midcurrent open has been one of the greatest joys for their entire family.

Sten has a Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary and was ordained in 2016. When he isn’t busy being husband, dad, or pastor, Sten can be found on the basketball court, in a trout stream with a fly rod in hand, or around town with a guitar in his hand. Wherever you happen to find him, he’ll be glad to meet you!
